I thought you might like to know that several fox families are alive and well and living at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Nacogdoches, Texas. I am the volunteer golf marhsal on Saturday mornings, and I frequently see a family of gray and a family of reds. Each Spring, at least one golfer will tell the story of how a 3 month old pup grabbed his golf ball as it rolled down the fairway. I have seen this myself on one occasion, so I know it to be true! There is no penalty stroke if the fox gets your golf ball. You must "drop" from the point where the ball was intercepted by the fox. You must also have a witness.
